Meet
Chef Jenner
Trained at the School of Mom and Grandmom, I started my culinary career in Florida after being laid off from a dead-end corporate job when I opened my own Personal Chef service in Clearwater, Florida, cooking for traveling families, local residents and even professional athletes.
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, I returned home to open Vivace Gourmet Café in March 2022, inspired by the sandwich shops of Tuscany. My ingredients are carefully sourced, using only uncured meats free of nirates and nitrates, organic vegetables and organic Italian "Tipo 00" flour for the housemade Focaccia bread.
My late father, Gene Southerland, owner of Mr. G's Hair Design Studios, started our family legacy in the Hill Side Community in 1967. I look forward to becoming a part of the community and adding on to his legacy with my delicious menu offerings!
